school who had his choice of schools. If my kid was a top 150 player like Kim then I would probably encourage him to go wherever he can get a scholarship and offers has a major he wants. But if he was a blue chip who could go wherever he wanted and then go to the NBA after one or two years, I would probably encourage him to go to a blue blood to get as much exposure as possible over a team where even making the NCAA tournament may be a longshot.
