Kim's small window of potential success was to be able to coach up the inherited assets for a short term timeframe to be transitioned to someone else. It didn't work, he failed miserably at this. Nobody in their right mind would hire Kim for an actual rebuilding effort and turn the program over to him asking him to replenish the talent, that is completely outside of his skill set and timeline.
We thought he was going to be a better coach than he was, we were wrong.
