Republican talking points.
What he needed to do was convince Americans he was an acceptable person for the job of president. He really started his own demise in the primaries.
His arrogance, his lack of knowledge, and his utter clear dishonesty have disqualified him.
He didn't really have to win debates. He lost them all. He needed to show his ability to grasp the issues sanely, and communicate them with confidence and convincing spirit.
What you have is a man who had a slim chance of winning and blew it. He's done damage to himself, and his party. If he's not careful that damage may last a generation or more.
