why he will lose this election.
Not his taxes. Not a "hot mic" tape from 11 years ago. But showing too often that he cannot carry himself in a serious, presidential manner that is required of the POTUS.
Like you said, even if he suddenly became presidential, it would be "too little, too late", as they say. He really needed to change his behavior/attitude/personality a month ago. All he had to do was respond to the controversies in a measured and presidential manner, and he would have been fine and in good position to win the election.
"I made mistakes and said things in the past which I now realize were wrong, for which I apologize. I assure the American people that I have changed and that I am ready to .... etc...." which is basically the exact opposite of how he's handled things.
