Evans ended up being a big time player for SLU once he and the coaching staff truly allowed him to be what he was (a 6'6 power forward with below average athleticism) instead of trying to play him as a small forward and perimeter player. Although I think Evans had a better nose for the ball when it came to rebounding, but Puryear is the more polished offensive player.
