-iously that's the definition of a free market -- a simple means of exchange without force and fraud. How does sharing the definition of a free market refute the claim I'm making? It doesn't.
Advertising is actually often fraudulent, for one, but that's not even the basis of this thought exercise.
For a market to function as it should people need to be making choices in a rational and informed way.
We put great amounts of effort into making people make irrational and uninformed choices. This is undeniable.
