I may be in the minority, but looking for a big time hire was a step in the right direction. You can do much worse then hiring someone with a Duke pedigree. Duke coaching spin offs have had success.

Nor do I question Mizzou Arena, that place is a palace. At its construction is was a mini NBA Arena. The only problem was ditching townies who live in the area, for big companies who want to buy blocks of tickets. Turns out people make an arena intimidating, not its construction.
