He lost all his assets and momentum, had too many shortcomings he was going to have to overcome, and too much apathy has set in at this point. He doesn't have time on his side either as he is now in his 60's, and basically has no track record at this level other than dismal failure. He just doesn't have the skill set to rebuild, and now that he has been here two years a massive rebuild is what he is facing.
