alone. That is about 20% or so of GDP. And that number does not include state and local entities. Let's say that is another 10% of GDP ( I think it is higher ).
And, they are entities that, by the tax laws at federal and state level, are guaranteed a never ending flow of cash.
Despite knowing that politicians only get into the game to help the people and to serve, does anyone see the awesome power individuals and groups like Democrats and Republicans can derive from controlling that type of financial power?
Anyone ever skeptical that they may not just be in it for helping the kids, the working class, the middle class, the poor, the old, the young, the women, the men, the immigrants, the environment, the animals and any and everything else in between?
