I use Sunday to update all of my finances. I pretty much automatically have funds moved to various savings and investing accents monthly with an expectation that I will spend the money in my checking account. When I have extra in that account, I might do something fun, or even put more into savings...when I have to move money into savings, then I cut back for a bit.

Creating an exact budget is way too much work and a waste of time.
