I bought it as Sam's Club. It may not be elite, but it is a pleasant, malty, age statement, single malt Scotch. The 750ml equivalent would be $12.86! It is far, far better than anything else I've had in that price range, and way cheaper at Sam's than elsewhere. Also, when I'm in the mood, I can mix a 1/2 shot of Laphroaig Cask Strength in with a shot of Speyburn and have a pleasant, harmonious, smokey dram.
