I had an official Poll moment this week. 2 nights ago,

We'd - a couple of nights following the debate, I was going thru a grocery store line. I had noticed a Hwy Patrol officer on his way out as I entered making some final friendly give & take w/ a Black guy decked out in stereotypical young Black
Youth "gear" with a picture of someone on his t-shirt that looked to perhaps be a "in memoriam" (at least Inassumed it to be).
Anyway proceed to eventually check out in the only lane open at that time & he is still hanging out in the bagging area of that lane & there is a 60ish white women ahead of me. Well, all of sudden I hear, the women & 20 something checkout white girl talking about how they're going to vote for Trump. The Black dude chimes in that he'd vote for Trump, but he's not voting, but if he did, it would be for Trump. He proceeds mention something about how if your educated about people like him you know that vote don't count or do sh*t...
I'm thinking that Inhave absolutely no inclination to discuss "the education your telling others to get" or get into much of a Poli discussion with him & them at this time, when I hear the older woman in front of me say what, you need to vote, this is America & your vote counts & proceeds to engage him.
Meanwhile, the younger girl (presumably a Grocers Union member) looks at me & says I know not to talk politics but things need to change & I'm voting for Trump. I reply, you're preaching to choir & she says, I can't believe it, my family or I never thought we would vote Republican - never have, but I am & so are my parents for the first time. I said well, all the Democrats do is offer tyranny & try to control everybody's lives. Conservatism is about freedom or something to that effect.
As I head on behind the Black guy still engaged with the white women about exercising his right to vote, I hear him saying that he went down when Trump came to STL & helped shut his sh*t down (which they didn't at all. They got kicked out weren't able to disrupt hardly anything), but that he would vote for Trump today but "you got to be educated...blah, blah, blah.
Moral of the story? That was a real world, real time scientific as can be poll (people's real feelings with nobody prompting them). Oh & also it's looking a lot like a Trump landslide!!
