My kid's HS is pretty much a blackhole of athletic achievement. The coaches are horrible, AD is a schmuck, it's just rotten from the top down and bottom up.

It is a very sound academic school that historically produces very high achieving students.

I'm kind of ready to push them away from athletics. It's a bloody waste of time and an emotional drain for them.

Anyone else dealt with this?
