Larry K had two ncaa tourney appearances in two seasons, before being hired at Utah (i.e. he was a proven D1 coach.) He won 6, then 15 & 21 in his first three seasons at UT...He's kind of the anti-KA.

KA cratered the program - Frank Haith didn't produce any 14th place SEC finishes.
