UK managed to convert down the stretch. Great game. We did beat UCLA, W. Virginia, and NC State that year in the noncon, swept Arkansas, won numerous SEC road games, etc.

This was back when we were still a competitive program. Not like the 86-37 loss and 88-54 loss we suffered the last two seasons to them where it was basically a scrimmage.
