I don't know if the opinion of someone from a neighboring country is welcome in this discussion, but here's one. To non-Americans, bills like this look so insane that it's almost impossible to believe they are real. It's hard to find language to express how aggressively stupid this is. Large parts of the U.S. appear to be devolving into distopian, theocratic anarchy. Something has gone tragically wrong with your country.
