I would see these as not necessarily the same thing.

Also - "a priority" vs the biggest need are very different. The biggest need is filling the largest void. Sure, you might always want a 6'5" guy that can score with the ball, but that becomes a "luxury" instead of the biggest need if you already have capable players at that position and are lacking elsewhere.

With the perimeter shooting success in Italy, I would not have expected a perimeter shooter to be considered the biggest need.
