I used to think that 2014-15 was the window of opportunity to capitalize on some of the early irrational momentum and inherited assets. Maybe its emotional and not logic, but I've adjusted from that to think that maybe they were just initially overwhelmed and unprepared, and that if they could just show competence in year two there was still an opportunity to recover and eventually have a good season. Obviously neither worked.
I'm not sure specifically where that tipping point is, but I lean more towards the 2015-16 season now. Either way, its long past.
