only been a college professor at top paying schools like MIT and Carnegie Mellon for 30 years but is now the CEO of a tech company that is getting DARPA money.

On a side note I want to point out that the Johns Hopkins program that was created for smart kids as a result of him has such notable alumni as:
Sergey Brin billionaire
Mark Zuckerberg billionaire
Terence Tao Fields Medal Winner (i remeber reading a story about him where he calculated his mothers grocery totals while riding in the shopping cart. He did it without being asked to and he included the tax and was only 3 at the time.)
