No school has or has had a pipeline to Chicago. Every school in the country recruits these kids. So many AAU coaches, posses, etc.
You can always get a kid out of Chicago but the top ones are tough to pull, especially from the CPL.
Dildy has some connections but most schools in the Midwest have a Chicago connection on staff, and the high school coaches are not a fraternity. If you get a kid from Simeon, you may not have success at another school whose coach thinks that Simeon coach Robert Smith steals their players.
Recruiting Chicago is a minefield, and I still say you hired the wrong Dildy. :)
