good lord you and Sal are making me almost despise cops (among others like the author of this stupid op ed).

My memory of cops are they were good people..and wete there to de-escalate things all over and take care of people. ..and they were basically unsung heroes.

Now we have all of this self worship, attraction to power, and feel they are above the law and blame the criminals for all of the problems when many videos show it is the cops..not the suspects that escalated the tension.

Our cops look more like military than community stewards....and that is sad.
