Yes I taught high school until I retired and now I teach evenings at a College In the area. I could go on. It is difficult to separate spiritual beliefs from your political beliefs, I might say that it is impossible. The Christian has a right to voice his or her opinion and vote their conscious. However in getting so wrapped up in a political movement they end up losing the focus of the spiritual quest and absorbing the political quest filled with propaganda. We have some even become Zionistic Christians which is not scriptural at all. Ever since the Christians involvement in the Tea Party The ultra conservative views have become more prominent. So prominent that Reagan would be too liberal and the GI Bill was the worst thing that the U.S. has ever done (too expensive) I could go on and name names etc. I also attended Seminary
