term, "act presidential."
No.
That in my opinion means act like john mccain and jeb bush. A loser with dignity and class. Say that my distinguished colleague from the other party may be mistaken in her well meaning but misconstrued recitation of my plan on tax relief.
Not his style.
You can like him or not, that is a subjective thing. But it would have been silly imo, to try and make michael vick into a regular pocket passing quarterback.
He isn't one of those. And he pays a price. He was injured his final year and we lost to miami and any chance of a championship. He was brilliant, and he was different. You can't separate them, they're both part of the deal.
I am not saying trump is brilliant, at least not as a politician. But he is who he is. There is good stuff there and it is silly to try and make him conform. The thing that has propelled him to this point is his style, personality and audacity.
He can moderate it, but to me, people who say he should "act presidential," want another bob dole. Someone to lose with dignity. Someone to play touch while the socialists play tackle and hit below the belt.
Like harry reid saying on the floor of the senate that he had information that romney had't paid taxes in ten years. And when confronted after the election about HIS audacity, he replied, "He didn't win, did he?"
No. But hopefully, no one else will sink to that level....well, just obama, fat hillary, biden, the washington post, the new york times, can, abc, nbc, cbs....
Ask yourself this, did the idiot biden act vice presidential with his jr high school faces and contortions in his debate with paul ryan?
The left are street fighters in a back alley rumble and the right plays by the marquis of queesnbury rules.
No.
