even though it's faulty and runs counter to our common law system. So if I'm understanding you correctly, here's the scenario:
White landlord gives preferential treatment to white tenants and deny blacks to ability to rent.
Government proves their case with a judge denying Trump's countersuit.
They decide on a remedy where blacks are given preferential treatment in order to balance out the past mistreatment.
You want to call this racism because preferential treatment is given.
No, I don't call that scenario racist because they're only trying to rectify a harm done to blacks. That's how our common law system works. You attempt to make the victim whole. Now do you have an alternative solution that would make blacks whole in this situation or would you just violate common law principles and do nothing.
