to a certain extent. That's part of human nature. The question is whether there's a history of derogatory statements spanning over years. That distinguishes one from being a racist or not. That's why you need to focus on the phrase, "OVERLY RELIANT". Does Trump meet this standard when looking at his behavior over a long period of time?
As for Obama, I can recall one quote regarding whites holding on to their guns and religion. Certainly, that's a stereotype. It can be inferred as negative because it suggests that they're incapable of being reasonable and thinking logically. Now if you can come up with a couple of others over a span of years, then we can lump him with Trump.
The troublesome part of accusing Obama as being a racist is that his cabinet and team of advisors consist of more white males than both George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Counter that with Trump's record.
