Rebounding percentage (amount of total rebounds they get while they're on the floor) is a better reflection of how effective they are as a rebounder relative to the other players on the floor.
Where J3 stands out from Puryear is on the offensive glass. As freshmen, they were nearly identical on the defensive glass. But J3 as a freshman more than doubled Puryear's effectiveness on the offensive glass.
As a sophomore, J3 was less effective as an offensive rebounder but improved on the defensive end.
