Look, the Government is by the people for the people. Citizens make up the employ of the Government to ultimately serve the people.

I understand what you are saying & am in your corner as far as runaway governance which most definitely seems to be the case these days, but it doesn't negate that change can only be effected by the citizenry. Despite what sometimes looks to be the contrary, the power still ultimately rests with the People thanks to the brilliance of the Founder & the documents they produced to create this country.
