In fact late in the season he seemed to have made his adjustments and shot ok from outside.

Gant made bigger strides in his game than is given credit. Late in the season he played as good or better than Puryear. Put him in a smaller conference with less size and athleticism.
I expected him to give Mizzou 10 & 6 this season before he transferred. In the sun belt I could see him being a guy that scores 13-14 a game, 7-8 rebounds and 2-3 blocks a game. That is if he embraces the role to maximize his skillset.

There's a difference between not being good enough as a freshman and sophomore to carry a team, and being a major contributor as a redshirt junior and senior.
