contribute and the young guys weren't physically ready. Goes back to the recruiting misses and gap year of getting the talent in here. There should have been some true Juniors ready to go last year.
You also cannot tell me that Boehm was ever remotely healthy after the 3rd play of the season. He was getting pushed around a lot and his mobility was limited. Obviously with an ankle issue and his weight, it was admirable he played, but he wasn't the same Boehm......not even close. McGovern needed to be inside and McNulty was a curious one. Got beat out by Abeln, then inserted back in over Abeln. He had a bad year, but played well the year before. Happens.
Hall and Chappell should've rotated in for depth and it was clearer toward the end of the year that Pendleton and Adams should've been starting, if purely for experience purposes.
