If I was a top 25/50 recruit

I'd never sign an LOI. I'm amazed that top ten guys still sign LOIs. Like Coach K would have pulled Jayson Tatum's offer if he doesn't sign? Crazy.

However, think below that level of prospect top level teams may not hold the spot. A mid-major or a struggling P5 team (i.e. Mizzou) probably would hold a spot for a top 100 guy though w/out an LOI.
