Feefee, Howland inherited a team with 5 Srs and 2 Jrs. He had a strong recruiting class lead by instate 5* Malik Newman. They went 14-17 including a loss to UMKC! Let me repeat, Howland and his team lost to UMKC. His leading scorer and rebounder was a senior and his second leading scorer a Sr. Two other Srs averaged 5.7 & 5.5 a game. A Jr guard averaged 9.2. With a veteran team and a 5* freshman it is fair to say his first season was a big dissapointment. Oh by the way, that 5* freshman chose to transfer. You can beat your chest all you want about what a great coach he is but the guys first season was poor. You have repeatedly brought up the KA loss to UMKC as a reason that he is in over his head. I guess that was just a bad day at the office for Howland. Double standard.
