We ranked 2nd to last in 2014-15 behind only Miss State. Since that point Miss State hired a coach that recently went to 3 straight Final Fours and now has a top 10 nationally ranked class, and we retained a coach who has avged less than 10 wins per season.
Total men’s basketball expenses for 2014-15, according to the U.S. Department of Education’s EADA report.

We aren't failing to compete with UK. We are failing to compete with anyone. We have simply given up on the sport, and there is no reason MU can't be one of the top men's basketball programs year in and year out in the SEC. We basically have to try towards not competing to avoid it.
