Guess he didn't read the comments here that supported him with his father's health issues and tried to rationalize his bad performances. If the crowd is booing, how do you know that they're booing your pass attempt and not the effort of the offensive line, or the play call by the coaching staff or the failure of an official to call a penalty? The answer is, you don't - it's because you know you've thrown a bad pass and you project that to the crowd. Mauk screwed up and he alone should own up to that.
