Will be interested to see how much they say. To explain things to a loyal fan base and to the players on the team, about why this happened and how they came to this conclusion.
IMO EE will be on double secret probation, and has already given assurances that he will continue to moderate his rougher edges. I can't see how it is anyone's interest to air the dirty laundry of the specific allegations and why the investigation failed to conclude they constituted firing offenses.
This is clearly a complete repudiation of Mack Rhoades, who obviously wanted to fire EE, and sent his 3 investigators to go after the girls on the team and the coaches hard, with extreme prejudice, on a witch hunt that was the furthest thing from an 'unbiased search for the truth' that he publically portrayed it to be. You wonder what the standing will be now in the AD for those 3 women who harassed, bullied, and threatened girls and coaches in the interviews/interrogations, who cut players off when they tried to say positive things about EE, who turned off the recorder to scream at an assistant coach who wasn't giving them the dirt they wanted to collect on EE. You wonder if there will be any professional reckoning for them to deal with for the roles they so willing played in this debacle.
And you wonder if any of the girls and their parents, who wanted EE to be fired, will continue to pursue their vendettas against EE, in public.
I hope everyone just moves on.
We need a huge crowd out for the first Fall exhibition game, to give EE a standing O, and the same to the girls who stayed, and supported him, and to the incoming freshman class, who showed up, to a person, to play at Mizzou for coach EE.
