Russ Woods, playing against an all-conference, 6 foot 10 inch center, not only has developed nice post moves and a mini hook, but his positioning for rebounds was outstanding. He beat the bigger man to the ball.

Defense may have been lacking considering the final score and KA's comment that the opponent scored a lot of points in the paint. But Woods was such a non-factor last year that any improvement is a huge gain for the team.
