I've seen -- on both sides of the ball. The O-line mauled guys. And that was the first year that they cut back on physical practices.

I think the O-Line looked soft or reactive the last two years because they could never be confident where Mauk was going to be. A Tackle could do everything right in pass protect and Mauk would run right into the defender's path -- and now the OL is standing there with a sack on his back.

If your QB won't stay somewhere close to the pocket, you just can't block aggressively. IMO.
