it's more than just winning. You will never be able to rebuild a program and sustain it if 60% of the time the arena is 1/3 full. Somehow they have get more local support from the campus and townies. It's much more important for basketball than football to have the local support. Alden couldn't do it, Rhoades couldn't do it. Can Sterk? It actually got much , much worse under Alden despite quite a few winning seasons and NCAA appearances between Snyder, Haith and Anderson.
