This isn't a sign of BO having a weakness.
We are loaded with promising youth at WR and DB. Our #1 recruiting target is similar to Adams. There's a number of reasons we lost him, depth probably being a huge reason.
Our OL is actually decently set with young talent. For a guy who wants to play within the next 2 years, Missouri might not be the best place.
Barry Odom is the real deal and will be just fine.
Lovie is a fatherly figure. A former NFL head coach. A nice guy. He's going to warm the hearts of people in are area. He's going to present challenges. We want challenges.
The unfortunate truth is this -- No matter how fair and trustworthy BO is, he'll never be black. Lovie will benefit from being black. As insensitive as that is, it's true.
As Mizzou fans we have to hope that the rest of the BIG does their part in keeping Illinois from reaching new heights. Over the next 3 years they can't take off under Lovie or it will become a real issue for us in the metro east.
