But the B10 is just as prestigious and frankly for a school like Mizzou, easier to compete in since it would be with a bunch of other schools in the same recruiting boat. I just don't get the SEC love. Most of my life MU had its eye on the B10 or, in KC, was happy to be part of the unholy alliance, playing Nub and hosting the tourney. Now MU is in a league that it has even more severe recruiting handicaps in, which most of the league would be happy as a pig in ****, if we would leave, left to play of role of Colorado like oddity on the extreme edge of the conference footprint for the next 100 years.

I know their are solid reasons why MU is where it is now but I can't shake the feeling MU took its eye off the ball, panicked and now is in its poorest fit league out of the 3 realistic options forever.

I know that is not necessarily a prevailing message board view.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
