Big 12 Okie just pulled a kid from Pattonville. B12 can get kids just fine if their program is worth a damn. Comparing group of 5 to P5 is apples to oranges. But among the P5 I see no evidence it is that big of a deal. I certainly don't see much evidence that Mizzou has gotten much of a bump with area recruits based on conference affiliation, other than lightly recruited guys living in SEC territory. We had the same advantage in the B12 with lightly recruited TX kids.

School and people make more of a difference. Proximity seems to matter more too. In terms of P5 leagues.
