what the next extension will be. It should be the Notth/South route proposed that would run from STLCC-Florissant Valley down past what will then be the huge new NSA Geospatial Headquarters at Jefferson & Cass in North City & through the city & into South County near 55.
That would be the one that would be most beneficial given the enormous Federal investment in the NSA facility in North City.
The one from Clayton to Westport Plaza will come to fruition but, as you know, it will have the most opposition.
They have already started developing housing/retail developments that they have planned for about 5 or 6 Metrolink stations (one across the river in Illinois). Creating more active, "lifestyle centers" around those station. Plus, they are finishing a new terminal/station in Cortex between CWE & SLU, which will flourish, given the rapid growth there.
