I don't see vitriol toward Trump, it's more incredulity

as in, how in the hell can a guy that says such ridiculously non-politically correct things, survive and advance in a political environment? Maybe that means he's brilliant and he's tapping into folks being tired of pc culture. Give him credit for understanding social media and riding the wave.
But then you look at the substance of what his claims are, and what they have been. In those claims, it's lie after lie, scam after scam. No different than Hillary, who also lies continually and panders constantly. However, she seems to have an idea about the substance of things. I may not agree with her views on things, but at least I believe that she knows something about the issue. He doesn't and moreover, he doesn't seem inclined to do the work to learn about them. That's scary.
