suddenly doing what they've not been able to do up to this point, especially with a new AD in the offing.

On the other hand, if the new AD were given the reigns the thing could go anywhere after he reviews the situation.

I hope Hank believes that a firing would hurt his chances for Chancellor and cleans this up before the new AD arrives.
