that makes him "awesome"? I'm not saying that he's not, but, quite frankly, the last strength coach had a better resume. I hope that he does turn out to be "awesome" but at this point, we've not seen any results to show us that's the case.
In fact, I'd argue that, based on the limited reading provided in this thread, there's more reason to believe that this guy can do the specific job you want done - e.g. teach guards to shoot. He was himself a successful player. He has coached successful players.
