Seems arbitrary/made up

Those are just a bunch of wishful words without anything that actually supports them. There were similar comments prior to each of the last two seasons as well.

To date what has actually been observed is a lack of respect for the staff/buy in, an amazingly lacking level of effort and focus, huge under preparation, and guys getting frustrated and quitting. In my opinion we have passed the tipping point to where even if we do see better coaching, focus and effort, and preparation I'm not sure it will really matter because we are now at such a talent disadvantage that we can't possibly compete even if we did start functioning like a normal program. Remains to be seen though, hopefully something positive does materialize this season.

I would certainly disagree with the assessment that the next 2-3 seasons look good. MU has never been farther away from being competitive during my lifetime than they are right now, and my reasonable expectation is they will be farther away than they are currently by the end of this season and heading into the next one.
