What a load of crap.
Implicit in that argument is that wins don't really matter as long as the players are good people.
WRONG
I assume that a Mizzou coach won't knowingly recruit bad people. I assume a player will go to class, not commit crimes, not fight with teammates, etc.
That is the MINIMUM BASELINE.
Since I assume that as a minimum standard, I don't worry whether players have good character or not. The coach should already have taken care of that. Mistakes can be made as no one is perfect, but I also assume a coach will help a player correct those mistakes.
With that taken care of, the main metric to determine if a coach is successful is WINNING GAMES.
This "character is more important than wins" is another pathetic excuse by pathetic KAfanbois to cover up pathetic results.
Real Mizzou fans won't fall for it.
