It was 28% when Obama took office. That's an astonishing 32% increase in 8 years, of people NOT working, not producing.
Government spending has doubled in 8 years, that's right a 100% increase in government spending. Meanwhile GDP has grown 10%.
US investors are sitting on $12 trillion in cash. That is a 33% increase in cash hoarding since Obama took office.
Meanwhile, the rest of the world- which largely depends on US growth- has stalled.
If we elect Clinton, we will stay the course. More taxes, more wasteful government spending, and more cash hoarding by consumers and businesses. And just as happened the last 8 years, the divide between the wealthy and the poor will grow wider.
It shouldn't take 8 years for our country to wise up to these realities.
