thick and thin. Some came with hidden baggage, with an, but I'm not doing that, in his back pocket, or, I just wanna have a little (selfish, self and team destructive), fun.
No, they did not all come with equal zeal and willingness to do whatever the coach asked, and/or willingness to accept the authority of a new head bb coach, and/or willingness to not commit crime(s), and/or do everything they could to keep their grades up. Some came willing to commit violence, some came willing to use drugs, some came being a slacker, some came being rebellious, etc.
So no, your one size fits all narrative about them all "want(ing) to be here" is false. Not all came with full and equal willingness to follow all the rules and conditions to stay here and be a contributor for 4 years on the court.
