and talent to develop and compete. You just have to find enough of them and the right ones. The star watchers are right if you get kids who have lesser talent and the same work ethic, they'll lose every time. But find kids with lesser talent who outwork other players and you'll surprise people from time to time.

The converse of this has been our basketball program. We had talented kids (by star power) that never put in the work necessary to be relevant.
