The teachers union does nothing but scream for money, but do they every reform, eliminate the failed teachers? Of course not.

It's always status quo, just with more money. Failed inner city schools always start with democratic control. The school becomes a jobs program, a source of power for local pols.

Education? Not so much. And rarely can you get rid of the failures.
